Man opens emergency exit, walks on plane’s wing in Mexico

A man caused chaos at the Mexico City International Airport after he opened the emergency exit of a parked plane and walked on its wing.

Mexico City: In a recent incident, a man caused chaos at the Mexico City International Airport after he opened the emergency exit of a parked plane and walked on its wing, said reliable reports in this regard.

The airport officials said that the plane was parked for take-off on Thursday. It was an AeroMexico flight scheduled to fly to Guatemala. Since it was not in motion, none of the passengers sitting inside were harmed. As per the safety guidelines of the airport, the man surrendered himself to the authorities a little while later.

Reports from reliable sources state that about 77 passengers were seated inside the plane. Retorting on the incident, the remaining passengers signed a statement in support of the man. In the statement, they claimed that the man acted to protect them from the uncomfortable conditions inside the plane.

Allegedly, the AeroMexico plane to Guatemala was delayed by four hours without water or ventilation.

An incident report confirmed the discontent of the passengers due to maintenance alert, causing the delay in flight. Under dire circumstances, one of the passengers opened the emergency door in frustration. The airline is yet to comment on the incident.

Numerous videos have come up online, showing passengers requesting for water and complaining of the heat inside the plane. The AM672 flight to Guatemala was delayed almost by five hours. However, the identity of the man and any potential charges against him are not known yet.
