These Hamas terrorists were seen stripped down to their underwear, blindfolded, and kneeling on the street. Later, they were loaded onto a military vehicle.
Details about when and why these detentions occurred are unclear. Some of the detainees were identified as civilians with no ties to militant groups. The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor shared an image and reported that the Israeli Army detained and mistreated many Palestinian civilians. These included doctors, academicians, journalists, and elderly men.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) did not directly respond to the circulating images on social media. However, IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari acknowledged the arrests during a press conference.
He stated that the IDF had arrested individuals, including Hamas terrorists, and was conducting investigations to determine their affiliations. Hagari emphasized the IDF’s commitment to dismantling Hamas strongholds in the area until the mission is completed.
