Earthquake of magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale jolted the region of Afghanistan during the early hours of November 21, 2023.
Kabul: An earthquake of 4.1 magnitude hit Afghanistan during the early hours of November 21, reported the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). The quake precisely took place at 00:03:14 IST.
The earthquake originated at a latitude of 35.07 and a longitude of 63.28. The epicentre is located approximately 73 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface.
No casualties have been reported yet. Further details are awaited.
The National Centre for Seismology took to their official handle on X (formerly Twitter) to inform about the earthquake in Afghanistan. They wrote, “Earthquake of Magnitude:4.1, Occurred on 21-11-2023, 00:03:14 IST, Lat: 35.07 & Long: 63.38, Depth: 73 Km ,Location: Afghanistan.”
