26 killed as tractor trailer and van collide in northern Mexico
Atleast 26 people were killed as a tractor trailer and a van collided on a highway in the northern Mexican state of Tamaulipas
Mexico: In a tragic incident, atleast 26 people were killed as a tractor trailer and a van collided on a highway in the northern Mexican state of Tamaulipas.
Report says, the two vehicles crashed head on outside of the state capital Ciudad Victoria and then caught on fire.
According to the source, all of the deceased victims are believed to be Mexicans as national IDs have been recovered from the incident scene.
Earlier, another incident took place where atleast 18 people died and 33 were injured in a tourist bus accident in western Mexico.
The incident occurred when the bus carrying the tourists plunged into a ravine. It was traveling between Tepic, the state capital, and Puerto Vallarta, a popular tourist destination.
