A Nubia made smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has appeared in benchmarks much earlier (late August) and it was expected that it would be the new Red Magic phone.
The announcement of date of the Red Magic 9 Pro appeared through a social media post. We could spot the gaming wing of the brand in the social media post. The new phone will bring evolution in terms of design, performance, and battery life as well as screen time. From the teaser we could see the image of the smartphone. As the earlier Pro models of the Red Magic featured a triple camera setup along with cooling fan and under-display selfie camera, same configuration can be expected on Red Magic 9 Pro.
Red Magic 9 Pro is expected to offer a 12GB RAM option, revealed the Geekbench listing. However, the more powerful variants will offer 16GB or 24GB of RAM.
The smartphone is expected to ship Android 14 with Redmagic OS on top out of the box. The hardware switch is offered on the side for toggling the gaming mode.
