Realme Pad Mini to launch in India soon, Check expected specs

Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme Pad Mini will be launched in India soon. However, Realme has not announced the exact launch date yet. The Realme Pad Mini with an octa-core Unisoc T616 SoC has already debuted in Philippines.

It is the smaller version of the Realme Pad. It has a smaller display and a smaller battery than the regular Realme Pad and omes with an affordable price. It also features dual speakers, an 8.7-inch display and packs a large 6,400mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Relame has not revealed any information about the devices specification. But as Realme products usually have mostly the same specifications across different markets, so we can expect the Realme Pad Mini to come with the same specifications as the Philippines version.

Specifications

The Realme Pad Mini will likely come with an 8.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1340×800 pixels. It has thin bezels on two sides, while the remaining two sides would have rather thicker bezels. It may run on Android 11 with the new Realme UI for Pad skin on top.

The display has a Sunlight Mode, which offers maximum brightness while using outdoors.

It is expected to  be powered by an octa-core Unisoc T616 SoC, along with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The processor has a peak speed of 2.0GHz. The device has up to 4GB RAM and a maximum of 64GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage that is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.

The device features an 8-megapixel camera at the rear which is housed inside a rectangular bump and a 5-megapixel sensor at the front to capture selfies and video calls. The tablet may come with a 6,400mAh battery that supports 18W quick charging in the device. The tablet also supports reverse charging.

For connectivity, the Pad Mini supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio output. It is also speculated that the company may also release a LTE variant of the tablet. With LTE support, users will be able to make calls and send texts apart from accessing the internet.

Realme Pad Mini was launched in Philippines at a cost of PHP 9,990( roughly Rs 14,500). However, it may cost less in India as the Realme Pad carries a price tag of Rs 13,999 in the country. This will make it one of the cheapest tablets in India.
