Realme 12 series spotted on Flipkart, to launch in India very soon
The Realme 12 series devices will be launching in India soon and they have a tagline of “Beyond 200MP, Periscope awaits”.
Smartphone manufacturer Realme will soon launch the Realme 12 series in India. The company has teased about the same on micro-website of Flipkart. The Realme 12 series will be the successor of the Realme 11 series. The Realme 12 series devices will offer multiple upgrades as compared to its previous generation devices. The primary highlight of the series will be the introduction of periscope camera.
The Realme 12 series devices have a tagline of “Beyond 200MP, Periscope awaits”. This suggests a direct competition with the likes of Redmi’s Note 13 series that offers 200MP primary camera. The Pro and Pro+ variants of the smartphone offer 200MP camera. We can expect that Realme will introduce the Periscope camera in the Pro variants of the 12 series only. Realme had previously featured the periscope lens on one of its mid-range devices- Realme X3 SuperZoom.
Realme is offering some exciting offers when it comes to the sale of Realme 12 series devices. Interested buyers with 200MP camera smartphones will get good exchange discount if they want to trade their old device. The participants will also receive complimentary Realme Buds Air 5 that cost Rs 3,699. The users have to register on the Realme website in order to get the offer.
Expected Specifications
The Realme 12 series will offer three devices- Realme 12, Realme 12 Pro, and Realme 12 Pro+. The Periscope lens is expected be offered in Realme 12 Pro, and Realme 12 Pro+. While the Realme 12 Pro is expected to be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, the Realme 12 Pro+ will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.
Speaking about the display of the smartphone, we will get a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display that will offer 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. The Realme 12 Pro+ is expected to feature a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens (with 3x optical zoom), 50MP secondary lens and 8MP camera. The front camera is expected to be a 32MP camera.
On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro will offer 50MP primary camera, 32 secondary camera and 8MP sensor. The front camera will be a 16MP selfie camera. According to the TENAA listing both the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ devices will offer 4880mAh battery.
