POCO F3 GT gets BIS certification, could launch in India soon

POCO could launch in India soon as it has received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification. The phone is said to be the rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition smartphone which was launched in China this April. .

A new Xiaomi phone with an M2104K10I model number has been spotted on the database of BIS listing. The model number is expected that the model number is of the upcoming POCO F3 GT smartphone that is set to launch in Q3 this year. The BIS listing suggests that the handset could be launching in India soon.

The POCO F3 GT is tipped to be a rebadged Redmi K40 Gaming Edition launched in China in April this year.

The POCO F3 GT is expected to be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000 in India.

The POCO F3 GT may feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It may run on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 OS.

The devie will be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC along with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The phone could come with up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The handset will sport a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front and will have a triple camera setup at the rear that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The company may pack a 5,065Ah battery that carries support for 67W rapid charging to fuel POCO F3 GT. It could also have a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
