Iphone Users To Get Lock Feature On Google Chrome Incognito Tabs

If you are an iPhone user and are using Google Chrome application for browsing internet you are expected to receive an important update of the app.

Technology giant Google is looking forward to add additional security to its Chrome browser application for iPhone. Henceforth the iPhone users can lock the incognito tab for privacy purposes.

While switching tabs users will be able to notice the contents in the incognito tab as blurred. In order to access the tabs the users have to confirm their identity through Touch or Face ID.

The feature is not available to beta users and is expected to roll-out soon by the company.

However, once the feature is rolled out users should follow the following features to switch on the lock mode.

  • Open Chrome application
  • Go to settings
  • Select Privacy
  • Select Lock Incognito tab when you close Chrome

This feature of Google Chrome is expected to act as additional layer in turns of security of the user.
