Elon Musk introduces Tesla’s Optimus Gen 2 Robot; Know what all chores it can do
Elon Musk has recently introduced the Electric Vehicle giant, Tesla's Optimus Gen 2, a humanoid robot that can do household chores.
Elon Musk has recently introduced the Tesla’s Optimus Gen 2, a humanoid robot that can do household chores. The robot has faster walking speed, hand movements, tactile sensing on fingers, and much more.
Sharing a demo video of the humanoid robot, Elon Musk simply captioned it as “Optimus.”
The video starts with previous versions of the robots, which were introduced in 2021 and 2022. The new and upgraded version of this robot is much more advanced. The robot can exercise, boil eggs and even can dance. The robot have a stylish design resembling a human being.
Tesla Optimus, also popular as Tesla Bot, is a conceptual humanoid robot. The Optimus was first revealed at the Tesla’s AI Day event in 2021. Tesla has stated that the robots are powered by a custom Tesla computer chip. This packs the processing punch needed for complex tasks. The robots stay connected with WiFi. These robots are controlled by remote. Optimus are built-in with cybersecurity features to keep its operations safe.
Earlier this year, Tesla, the Electric Vehicle giant, revealed about Optimus through a video, which showed is impressive capabilities, including doing yoga poses and sorting colored blocks.
