Apple watch has saved a woman, who collapsed due to carbon monoxide leak in her room from a faulty heater in Delaware.
The Apple Watch, which is known for saving people in critical situations, has done it again, but this story is a little different. As per a report, the Apple watch has saved a woman, who collapsed due to carbon monoxide poisoning in Delaware.
The woman is Natalie Nasatka, a student from Delaware. Natalie narrated that she suddenly started feeling unwell one day. After some time, she started to lose consciousness, so she quickly pressed the button for the SOS features and called for help before collapsing. The reason she collapsed is because the deadly carbon monoxide gas was leaking into her room from a faulty heater. This gas is extremely harmful to humans and can cause the death of a person if they inhale or taste it.
After she pressed the button for SOS, the alert was sent straight to the emergency services. On getting the alert, the firefighters rushed to Natalie’s home and rescued her from her room in time thus her life was saved. This saved the life of Natalie as it could have been deadly if she had not used the SOS feature in time.
With this, the Apple Watch has saved another life. There are many such incidents where Apple Watch’s life saving features have reacted in time and saved many people.
Apple Watches has an array o features that can monitor your heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and more. But the SOS feature is the real star when it comes to emergencies. You can activate it by pressing and holding a button, and then tapping “SOS.”
Apple has not made any changes to the SOS feature over the years as it is crucial wearer to have one.
