Ganjam: A youth has been allegedly hacked to death by some unknown miscreants at Muktamaladeipur Sasan village under Polasara police limits of Ganjam district.
The deceased have been identified as Amit Acharya.
It is being suspected that Amit has been killed late last night as his body was found this morning. On getting the information, the Polasara Police and Purushottampur SDPO arrived at the crime spot and initiated an investigation into the matter.
The reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained. Purushottampur SDPO Suryamani Pradhan informed that the police team has received evidence about the accused who stabbed Amit to death.
