Keonjhar: Tension prevailed at the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) strong room set up at Odisha School of Mining Engineering here today after a youth was nabbed while moving suspiciously near its premise.
As per the report, a group of BJP workers spotted the youth this morning and detained him. During the inquiry about his identity the youth identified himself as a software engineer but failed to mention anything clearly on his motive behind wandering near the strong room.
The lotus party workers later handed over the youth to Keonjhar Town Police.
Further investigation by police into the incident is underway.
