Yet again, decomposed body of woman found in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, yet another decomposed body of a woman has been found in Bhubaneswar on Monday, said reliable reports.

The incident has been reported from Panda Kudia slum under Bharatpur police limits in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The body of the woman has been found from a bathroom.

Locals spotted the body due to the foul smell and immediately informed the police. The Bharatpur police reached the spot and recovered the body of the woman and it for postmortem.

The deceased woman has been identified as Minati Lenka. She is said to be around 45-years-old. She was an employee of a private hospital, said locals.

The police has registered a unnatural death case and is investigating into the matter.

It is worth mentioning that, it is the second such incident in a span of two day. Yesterday, the body of a woman was found from an apartment in Nayapalli area of Bhubaneswar.

The incident had been reported from a closed house of an apartment in Nayapali area of Bhubaneswar under Nayapalli police limits.

The deceased a woman had been identified as Rajshree Parida. She was 75 years of age, said reliable reports. The woman was said to be the owner of the apartment from which her body was found.

The Nayapalli police officers reached the spot after receiving  a complaint from the sonof the woman, said reports. During the initial probe of the police, the family members said that there was no enemy of the woman with anyone. It was probably a natural death added the family members of the deceased woman.

Further it is worth mentioning that, it is suspected that the woman had died since a few days since the dead body was decomposed by the time it was recovered.

According to the preliminary investigation of the police, the deceased woman used to live with her mentally challenged son. Police say that, the son could not understand that his mother had died due to his mental disorder.

The deceased woman Rajshri Parida is said to be the owner of the apartment. The police is trying to find the reason behind the death. The body of the deceased has been seized by the police and sent for postmortem to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.
