Khordha: In a shocking incident, a woman killed her sister-in-law by slitting her throat in Ganganagar area under Balugaon police limits in Khordha district last night.
The deceased has been identified as Shibani Behera.
As per the report, the accused namely Kaberi Behera had a tainted relationship with her in-laws due to love marriage. While the in-laws were objecting the accused to visit her parent’s home continuously, the same had sparked a heated argument between the two sides a few days back.

While the family members of the victim rushed her to Balugaon hospital first for treatment, she was later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur to succumb under treatment.
Based on the girl’s family Balugaon Police conducted an inquiry and arrested the accused woman.
