Woman killed after being repeatedly hit by sister-in-law in Odisha
A woman was killed after being hit repeatedly by her sister-in-law in Udala. The deceased was identified as Saraswati Nayak.
Udala: In a sorrowful incident, a woman was killed after being hit repeatedly by her sister-in-law. The deceased was identified as Saraswati Nayak from Nedam village which is under the jurisdiction of Kaptipada police station.
The reason for the violence has been determined to be an alleged affair.
The attacker suspected that a woman had an illicit affair with her husband. Under this suspicion,she started attacking the woman. When her sister-in-law tried to intervene, she started attacking her instead and killed her.
The accused has been identified as Shantibhakta. She and her son have been detained in the Kaptipada police station.
