Jajpur: Two men were killed another two women were injured in a head on collision between two motorcycles near Patuli Chhak under Korei police limits in the district today.
The deceased have been identified as Santosh Mallick and Hati Das.
Eyewitnesses said that all the victims were thrown to a distance after the collision. “We rushed all the victims to the nearest hospital where two succumbed to their injuries,” said a local.
Police said that both the women were later shifted to the SCB Medical College in Cuttack after their condition deteriorated. “ We have started an investigation after seizing both the vehicles,” said a police official.
