Keonjhar: A video of a man abusing a child and hanging him upside down inside an anganwadi centre in Odisha has gone viral on social media.
The incident took place at an anganwadi centre at Shivanarayanpur village under Hatadihi block in Keonjhar district on November 2.
As per reports, the incident took place after two kids had a scuffle over some petty issue. However father of one of the child rushed to the anganwadi and started thrashing the other kid. The man also hanged the kid upside down.
The father of the kid who was abused also alleged that the Anganwadi Supervisor suppressed the matter after he reported the matter.
“I came to know about the matter after the video went viral and my neighbours informed me about the incident. I later went to the centre and reported the matter to the supervisor who advised me not to drag the matter further,” said the father of the victim.
