Twin City of Odisha registers 13 Covid positive cases

Bhubaneswar: The Covid-19 cases in the twin city of Odisha remain significantly low on March 4, 2022. Bhubaneswar registered 11 new Covid-19 cases today while Cuttack city (CMC area) recorded two positive cases today.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), out of the total 11 positive cases registered today, all cases are local contact cases.

With today’s development, the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,327. The recovered cases are 1,54,803. The total deceased cases are 1190. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 313.

As in Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC area) 2 cases of home quarantine were reported.

The total cases in CMC are 56,009 while the total recovered cases are 55,547. Total Active cases are 33 while total deaths are 429.

The recovered cases in BMC and CMC today are 23 and 1 respectively.

Odisha on Friday reported 128 fresh cases of Covid including 22 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department . The positive tally stands at 12,85,615.

Reportedly, among the 128 positives, 73 patients are in quarantine, and 55 are the local contacts. There are as many as 1715 active cases in Odisha.
