Sambalpur: Many students fell ill and were hospitalized after eating from a fast food shop at Kirba Chowk in Burla city of Sambalpur district of Odisha.
According to reports, the students belong to VSSUT, VIMSAR and some other colleges in Burla. They have fallen ill after eating chicken shawarma salad from the fast food shop.
The students have been admitted to the Department of General Medicine of VIMSAR in Burla for immediate treatment.
The food security department have initiated an investigation into the matter. Samples have been collected from the fast food shop for testing.
