Speeding car hits pedestrians in Odisha’s Ganjam, 2 killed
At least 2 people were killed and 1 sustained critical injuries after a speeding car hit some pedestrians at Podamari bus stand in Ganjam.
Ganjam: At least two people were killed and two sustained critical injuries after a speeding car hit some pedestrians at the Podamari bus stand under Pattapur police limits of Ganjam.
According to reports, the two deceased persons were awaiting a bus to board intending to travel to Bhubaneswar when the speeding car hit them taking the lives of the two on the spot. The two people have been identified as Simanchal Pradhan of Podamari area and Niru Mohanty of Ramachandrapur.
Reports further stated that the injured people had been admitted to Digapahandi hospital. The police is investigating the case.
