Shocking! Teacher Allegedly Attempts To Rape Minor Girl Student In Odisha

Cuttack: In a shameful incident, a teacher has been arrested for allegedly attempting to rape a minor girl student in Cuttack of Odisha.

According to reports, the teacher allegedly lured the student to a hotel room in the pretext of teaching her Maths in Madhupatana area of Cuttack city.

He then attempted to physically abuse her inside the room. The accused has been identified as Bijay Nayak.

But, the girl managed to escape from the hotel and narrated her ordeal to her family members.

The family of the victim immediately filed a written complaint at Madhupatna police station.

The police immediately acted on the complaint basing on which the police registered a case and arrested the teacher.
