Bhubaneswar: Senior IPS officer D.S Kutey was today appointed as the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.
The 1997 batch IPS officer was previously posted as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the CM since April 2017. The IPS officer was the first IPS officer to become the OSD to the CM during his tenure.
Earlier, he has worked as the State Transport Commissioner, IG Operations and also held other important posts in Odisha Police. The IPS officer had also earned praise during his postings as Jajpur and Rourkela SP for his strict approach towards crime and criminal.

Ms Kalinga
