Scorching heatwave conditions continue in Odisha as 9 places record temperature of 40 Deg C & above

Bhubaneswar: Scorching heatwave conditions continued in Odisha as 9 places recorded the maximum day temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and above, informed the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD).

As per the IMD’s latest bulletin, Balangir and Boudh witnessed the highest temperature of the day in the State as they recorded 41.5 degrees Celsius temperature.

The other seven locations where the maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and above were reported are Angul (40.7), Baripada (41.0), Jharsuguda (41.4), Sambalpur (40.2), Talcher (40.4), Titilagarh (41.0), and Sonepur (40.8).
