Sanjeeb Kumar Panigrahi To Be The New Judge Of Orissa High Court

Bhubaneswar: The Supreme Court collegium has recommended the name of advocate Sanjeeb Kumar Panigrahi as a judge of Orissa High Court.  

The collegium has deferred the elevation of advocate Savitri Ratho for the time being while it has also remitted the names of six other advocates to Orissa High Court.

The chief justice of the Orissa High Court in May this year had recommended the names of eight advocates including Panigrahi.

The collegium has also recommended the name of District and Sessions Judge Bibhu Prasad RoutrayJudicial Officer, to be appointed as Orissa High Court Judge.

Panigrahi is an Advocate on Record and conducts cases on behalf of the Government of Odisha before the Supreme Court.

Similarly, Routary was posted as the first District Judge of Judgeship of Nabarangpur and is presently posted at Berhampur, Orissa.
