Baliguda: At least two miscreants were nabbed by the villagers when they were attempting for robbery. The villagers tied them with the help of rope for the whole night and later handed over to police.
As per reports, taking advantage of Diwali, four dacoits lurked into Palami village in Baliguda. They approached the house of Pitabasa for dacoity. They threatened Pitabasa and his wife Sabita by showing a gun and a knife. As children of the couple cried witnessing the frightening incident, people rushed to the spot and rescued the couple. However, two, out of the four miscreants could manage to flee from the spot.

After being informed, Baliguda police rushed to the crime spot and seized the weapons from the accused persons. Police have registered a case in this connection and investigation is going on.
