Plus II admission process begins in Odisha from today

Bhubaneswar: Almost after a month following the declaration of the Class X board results, the process for admission into Plus II courses started in Odisha on Friday.

As per a notification issued by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, the students who have cleared the Matric Examination could apply online for their colleges of choice through www.samsodisha.gov.in from 11 AM to 4 PM everyday starting from today till 11.45 AM on June 16.

After submission of the their Common Application Form (CAF) through online mode the students are required to submit an offline copy of it along with all relevant documents and admission fees at the SAMS (Student Academic Management System) centre by 5 PM on June 18.

The Department of Higher Education (DHE), Odisha would publish the first round selection list of candidates on June 23 for which the admissions would take place between June 25 and 28. The list will be available on its official website www.dheodisha.gov.in.

The second phase selection list would be declared on July 11 and admissions process would continue at the colleges between July 4 and 6.

The third phase admission would be held against the seats lying vacant in the colleges between July 15 and 17.

The regular classes under Science, Commerce and Arts streams in all the junior colleges in the state would begin from July 19.
