Keonjhar: One individual, Prashant Mishra, has been arrested in the case of circulation of a fake video of Keonjhar Assembly candidate. He has been held before being forwarded to the court.
A case has been registered under IPC section 292-A, 354-A, 500, 509, 465, 469, 120-B and 34. Also included IT sections were 66D, 67 and 67-A.
Previously arrested in this case were BJP social media manager Jaydev Giri and IT cell manager Chinmay Senapati.
The alleged accused had circulated a morphed video of Keonjhar Lok Sabha candidate. A case had been registered at Keonjhar Town Police station.
