Odisha reports massive spike in Covid cases, Khordha reports the highest

Bhubaneswar: As many as 3679 Covid-19 positive cases including 1223 from Khordha have been detected in the last 24 hours. The total cases include 384 in the 0-18 years age group have been found, informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Friday.

Among the 3679 positives, 2148 are quarantine cases and 1531 are local contacts. There are a total of 11663 active cases. The positivity rate stands at 5.15%.

Khordha district has recorded the highest with 1223 Covid positive cases, followed by Sundargarh with 582, Sambalpur with 372, Cuttack with 310, Jharsuguda with 134 and Puri with 100 positives.
