Odisha raises entry level qualification of Junior Clerks to +3

Major reshuffle of senior officers of OdishaBhubaneswar: Odisha government on Wednesday raised the entry level qualification of Junior Clerks in ministerial cadre of different district offices and other subordinate offices in the state.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration (GA) Department, the state government has raised the entry level qualification from a ‘pass’ degree in Plus Two to a ‘pass’ in Plus Three examination.

The notification further said that the candidates should also have knowledge in basic computers skills.

Notably, the Odisha Revenue Clerks Association had been demanding for enhancement of entry level qualification of junior clerks to graduation along with special cadre status.
