Odisha likely to experience mild summer this year: IMD

Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to experience a mild summer this year, informed the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday.

Reportedly, the temperatures will be lower than normal in the month of March. As a result, the maximum temperature will be lower than normal due to excessive rainfall.

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted that the daytime temperature will be lower than normal between March and May.

Adding to it, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Boudh, Cuttack, and Jagatsinghpur districts are likely to have low temperatures than normal.

Earlier, Bhubaneswar had the highest temperature across the country in March. However, it will not be the same this year.

The temperatures in coastal areas will be low as the sea wind will enter Odisha, added reports.
