Bhubaneswar: The Odisha unit of Congress on Wednesday finalized the list of its candidates who will likely to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha election in the state. This was informed by Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik after the conclusion of the Pradesh Election Committee (PEC) meeting which was held at Congress Bhawan here today.
Speaking to the newsmen, Patnaik said that the party has given preferences to youth, women and candidates with high-probability of winning while selecting the possible contenders of the party.
The list of the possible Lok Sabha candidates, meanwhile, has been sent to the party’s Central Election Committee (CEC) for its approval, said the OPCC president.
Here is the list of the candidates whom the Odisha Congress has selected to contest the election this year.

The Pradesh Election Committee (PEC) also sent the tentative list of the candidates selected for the forthcoming state assembly electioin.
