Odisha CM to inaugurate SAMALEI project on Jan 27

The much-awaited Samaleswari Temple Area Management and Local Economy Initiatives (SAMALEI) project will be inaugurated by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on January 27, informed Trust Board Chairman Sanjay Babu.

Sambalpur: The much-awaited Samaleswari Temple Area Management and Local Economy Initiatives (SAMALEI) project will be inaugurated by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on January 27, informed Trust Board Chairman Sanjay Babu.

According to Sanjay Babu, Patnaik will reach the 12th-century shrine and inaugurate it at 12.30 PM on January 27 (Saturday). Prior to this the Ankurarpana rituals will be held on January 22 and special yajnas will be conducted at four places, he added.

Meanwhile, preparation for the inauguration of the project, carried out over around 40 acres of land, has reached its final stage.

It is to be noted here the State government has allocated Rs 200 crore for the beautification and development of the Samaleswari temple under the SAMALEI scheme.
