Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday gave three mantras with an aim to contain the spread of Covid-19 in the State.

While reviewing the COVID situation of the State via video conferencing this evening, Patnaik asked the Chief Secretary and other concerned officials to give emphasis for three things – testing, enforcement, and containment.

The Chief Minister also directed the officials to strictly enforce the COVID guidelines, enhance surveillance and testing across the State.

Enforcement of Covid appropriate behaviour by police especially in urban areas and close watch on returnees from States where cases are more were also decided during the meeting.

If cluster cases are reported from any part, the area will be declared as containment zones, said sources adding that the meeting also decided not to impose night curfew now.

Chief Secretary has also been directed to regularly review the COVID situation.
