Nabarangpur: The night curfew in Nabarangpur district of Odisha has been lifted today i.e. on Sunday. It is to be noted that the night curfew has been lifted as there was no notice for its continuation.
Reportedly the state government took this decision after a marked decline in the number if rising Covid cases in the district.
It is noteworthy, in order to control and manage the rising Covid cases and prevent its further spread, the Nabarangpur district administration had decided to impose night curfew in the district from March 25.
The release also mentioned that the movement of individuals shall remain strictly prohibited during night curfew except for essential activities with effect from March 25.
It is noteworthy that Nabarangpur was the second district of Odisha to impose night curfew, second only to Malkangiri.
Ms Kalinga
