Koraput: In a shocking incident, a minor boy was allegedly killed by two of his friends in Koraput district of Odisha. Reportedly, they stoned him to death and threw his body into a water body as he did not give them mobile phone. The incident took place in Masiput village in the district.
As per reports, on Thursday evening the three friends had gone to play games in a field. Two of them are minor boys. One of the minor boys was playing games in a mobile phone. The other two friends came to him and asked to hand over them the mobile.
However, as the minor boy did not give them the mobile phone, they attacked him with stones. As a result his head get fractured and he fell unconscious.
Fearing that once he recovers from the unconsciousness state, he would reveal about the attack, they strangulated him to death. And to cover up the murder, they threw the body into the water of the nearby Kolab dam.
After knowing about this Police swung into action and fished out his body from the water.
Police have detained the two accused boys and interrogating them. Further investigation of the case is underway.
