Market Vendors Stage Protest By Throwing Vegetables On Road In Odisha

Jharsuguda: The farmers and market vendors have protested against the decision of district administration to shut the haat keeping in view of the rising Covid cases in the state.

According to reports, the weekly haat and the daily market have been ordered to be shut by the district administration. Due to this the farmers and vendors, who were dependent on the haat, have been facing several issues.

The livelihood of the farmers and vendors has been badly affected. It has become difficult for them to make ends meet.

As a result the enraged people have protested against the district administration by throwing vegetables on the road and quashing them.
