The incident has been reported in Hatimuniguda village under Muniguda police station in Rayagada district of Odisha.
A woman’s body was found inside the house with her throat slit. It has been reported that the murder was due to family dispute related reasons.
According to reports, Sami Chandra Nayak killed his wife Nandini Nayak by slitting her throat with a blade over a family dispute. After killing her, he surrendered at Muniguda police station.
On receiving the information, Muniguda police reached the spot and are investigating. The husband has been detained and being questioned by the police.
