Bhubaneswar: Swami Vivekananda School of Engineering & Technology (SVSE&T) organised an international conference on ‘Emerging Trends in Electrical & Electronics Engineering’ on 20th and 21st December 2019 at SVSE&T premises in Chaitanyaprasad, Madanpur, Bhubaneswar.
The seminar was inaugurated at 10.30 am on December 21 in the presence of Prof. Gyoo Soo Chaae, Division of Information & Communication, Baeksok University, South Korea, the Chief Guest. Chief Speaker of the seminar was Dr. Prasanta Kumar Satpathy, Professor, Deptt. of Electrical Engg., C.E.T., Bhubaneswar.
Three sessions were held during the two day seminar where Key note speakers from reputed institutions spoke. The distinguished speakers discussed on various engineering topics and rejuvenated the students as well as faculty members with moral boost ups for innovative initiatives in the interest of the society.
The event was held under the mentorship of Chairman Er. Ashish Kumar Patra, Vice Chairperson, Er. Sharmistha Jena, Principal, Prof. Chittaranjan Routray. Dr. Debasis Mishra, Prof. Sudhanshu Sekhar Singh, Professor & Project Head UGC , KIIT Deemed to be University, Prof.(Dr.) Soumya Prakash Dash, Asstt.Professor, Deptt. of Electrical Sciences, IIT, Bhubaneswar, Prof.(Dr.) Saroja Kumar Das, Professor & HOD, Deptt. of Electrical Engg., GITA, Bhubaneswar, Prof. (Dr.) Gopinath Pallai, Professor & HOD, Deptt. of Electronics Engg., GITA, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Khirod Kumar Rout, Chairman, IE(I), Odisha Chapter and faculties from different professional institutes, HODs, students and staff were present on this ocassion.
