Intense Cold Wave Continues To Sweep Odisha As 11 Places Record Temperature Below 10 Degree Celsius

Bhubaneswar: Intense cold wave continues to sweep entire Odisha as 11 places of the State recorded the temperature below 10 degree Celsius yesterday night.

According to reports, Phulbani reported the lowest temperature of the night yesterday. Other places where severe cold wave conditions witnessed were Nuapada and Sunabeda.

Apart from the intense cold waves, heavy fog also was seen in these places due to which the normal lives of the people have been affected.

Commuters face trouble on roads as drivers had to drive slowly and cautiously with the visibility extending only to a few metres due to the intense fog cover in these areas.

People mostly prefer to stay indoors because of the cold wave condition. Some even, especially in the rural area are seen sitting around the bonfire trying to make themselves warm during the cold densely foggy morning and evening.
