Bhubaneswar: The IMD Regional Centre here has issued thundershower alert for at least six districts of Odisha till the afternoon today.
As per the latest Nowcast of the MeT Department thundershower accompanied by lightning are likely to occur at a few places in districts like Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar) and Nayagarh from 1:10 pm to 5:10 pm today.
The Weatherman has also predicted light to moderate rainfall during the alerted period in these districts.
In view of the approaching weather condition people in the alerted areas have been advised to take shelter in safe places to avoid any kind of eventuality.
