IMD predicts rise in day temperature in the next two days in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast a rise in day temperature in the entire state of Odisha.

There will be gradual rise by 3-4 degree celsius in two-three days in the state. While, there will be no large change in minimum temperature (night temperature) during the next two days.

Yellow warning has been issued for the dense fog on Wednesday and Thursday to 11 districts of Odisha. They are  Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Boudh, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal and Kalahandi.

From Jan 20 (8.30 am) to Jan 21 (8.30 am)

Dry weather very likely to prevail over Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog very likely at one or two places over South Interior Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.

Jan 21 (8.30 am) to Jan 22 (8.30 am)

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers likely to occur at one or two places over Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur. Dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest of Odisha.

Jan 22 (8.30 am) to Jan 23 (8.30 am)

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers likely to occur at one or two places over Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj. Dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest of Odisha.
