50 New COVID19 Cases In Odisha’s Ganjam, Tally Reaches 1138

Berhampur: Ganjam District has reported 50 new cases of the deadly Covid-19 virus in the last 24 hours, informed District Administration.

Out of the 50 new positive cases, 13 are covid warriors. Of them 8 belongs to Aska area, 1 each from K.S Nagar and Kodala and 3 cases from BeMC area.

Four cases have travel history from other states Surat 1, Mumbai 2, and Pune 1.

Other, 33 cases are locals contacts 2 from Aska, 3 from BeMC, 15 from K.S.Nagar, 2 from Khalikhote, 5 from Kodala, 2 each from Purshottampur and Sanakhemundi and 1 each from Chatrapur and Kukudakhandi.

Ganjam district tally have reached 1138, with new 50 cases. Out of which 312 are active cases, 768 have recovered and the death toll stands at 8.

Yesterday, Ganjam Collector Vijay Kulange had announced 4-day shutdown in BeMC area starting from June 27 to June 30 in view of rising cases in the district.
