Ganjam District Administration To Impose Ban On Gutka In MKCG Medical College

Berhampur: The Ganjam District Administration is planning to impose ban on gutka in the campus MKCG Medical College and Hospital. This was informed by Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange during a surprise visit to the medical college today.

Kulange today visited various departments of the medical college and took stock of facilities. He also interacted with the patients and attendants.

Kulange also advised the doctors to prescribe medicines available in the Niramaya store. He has also directed the concerned authorities to demolish the unsafe building in the campus.

“I discussed issues related to infrastructure, staffs and patients. Hospital authorities have been asked to render service to maximum patients. A mass cleaning exercise will be launched soon in the hospital,” said Kulange.
