Former ‘KIIT Nanhipari’ Maitri Monali Pradhan Crowned ‘Miss India Elite’

Bhubaneswar: Maitri Monali Pradhan from Odisha has bagged the Ru-Ba-Ru ‘Miss India Elite’ Award at an elaborate ceremony organised by the ‘Ru-Ba-Ru’ India group in New Delhi.

Pradhan was crowned the winner at the Grand Finale of ‘Miss India Elite’ which was held on Sunday. She bagged the coveted award by defeating several other contestants who had participated from all across the country.

Maitri is the daughter of Army Officer Bhagaban Pradhan and Pratibha Pradhan. She hails from Astaranga in Puri district.

Earlier, Pradhan had bagged two major titles in Miss Teen International 2018 beauty pageant held at Bangkok in Thailand.

Besides featuring among the top five contestants, Maitri also won the ‘Best National Costume’ and ‘Best Talent’ titles in the beauty contest.

In 2016, she was crowned KIIT Nanhipari- Little Miss India 2016, held at KIIT International School in Bhubaneswar. In the beauty pageants, 32 young girls between 13-16 years were shortlisted for semifinal round from 8 regional auditions at Guwahati, Kolkata, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

However, Maitri Monali topped the contest bagging the KIIT Nanhi Pari- Little Miss India 2016 title on the final day.
