Ex-MLA of Odisha Balabhadra Majhi quits BJD

Bhubaneswar: Ex-MLA Balabhadra Majhi has quit Biju Janata Dal on Monday, said reliable reports in this regard on Monday.

It is worth mentioning that, the ex-MLA didn’t get a BJD ticket in 2919, in his place Pradip Dishari was given the ticket and and he won.

Balabhadra was an MLA from 2014 to 2019. Balabhadra lost to Shivaji Majhi of Congress in 2009 Balabhadra was an ex-MLA and not very active in BJD party by-election works or party organisation works in the last five years.

This resignation is expected not to be of much impact.
