Balasore: In a gruesome incident, an elderly man was found murdered with a digging iron bar in Kakaborai village under Remuna police limits in Balasore district today.
The deceased has been identified as Raghunath Jena (75), a resident of the same village.
Report says, the Raghunath’s head was stabbed by some unknown miscreant while he was asleep. He has also received deep wound on his eyes. As a result, he sustained grevious injuries and died on the spot.
The deceased family has lodged a complaint at Remuna police station. On being informed, the police team along with scientific team and dog squad reached the spot and started a probe into the matter.
We are investigating the matter and will soon arrest the accused, informs police.
