Drunken father hacks son to death in Odisha

Deogarh: In a shocking incident, a man has hacked his son to death in Gunduriposhi village under Barkot police limits in Deogarh district.

The deceased has been identified as Golbadan Patra.

Reportedly, the accused father Muchi Patra came home last night in an inebriated state of mind following which a heated argument took place between the father-son duo.

Thereafter, the altercation escalated, and hacked his son to death with a shared weapon in an enraged state of mind.

Later, the accused father surrendered at the Barkot police station.
