Bhubaneswar: Dreaded criminal Hari ‘Mental’ and his aide Lipu were on Tuesday arrested by the Commissionerate Police after a brief exchange of fire at Balianta on the outskirts of the city. Cops have seized two pistols and live bullets from their possession.
Initially they were admitted to the hospital here as they had sustained bullet injuries on their legs. Later, they were shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital as their condition worsened.
According to Bhubaneswar DCP Satyabrata Bhoi, both Mental and Lipu have a long criminal track record. Many cases are pending against them in many different police stations including in Jagatsinghpur district.
