Covid Surge In Odisha: Harekrushna Mahtab State Library closed

Bhubaneswar: The Harekrushna Mahtab State Library has been closed till January 26 after the detection of a number of covid positive employees.

The Department of Odia Language Literature and Culture informed that the library will remain closed for the safety of readers and staff.

The premises of the library will be sanitized and disinfected.

The authorities also said that after reopening, only the readers having Covid negative certificate will be allowed to the library.

It is noteworthy that, Odisha reported 10,489 new Covid-19 positive cases including 2934 positives from Khurda in the last 24 hours.
